I chose to be part of the GFFR Foundation Board because the Foundation provides funding for equipment and projects that the City could not otherwise afford. Our community will be safer as a result.

I wanted to be part of the solution that allows Great Falls Fire Rescue to receive donations that help enhance their services for our community. Not all needs can be fulfilled by the City budget and the Foundation is a resource to supplement those funding needs.

During my time as GFFR Fire Chief, people wanted to donate to the Fire Department. However, there was no legitimate means of accepting those charitable gifts. I wanted to be part of something that provides that opportunity to accept funds to support project and equipment that directly benefit our Fire Department and enhances our community.

Our family has served in various roles supporting the many facets of emergency & safety services, which has personally fostered a great dedication to applying my skills and abilities for the benefit of our greater community. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve on the Great Falls Fire Rescue Board to help support the overall wellbeing of our firefighters as they ensure the safety of our community.

We live in a community and part of our responsibility is to take care of those around you. Great Falls Fire Rescue does that daily, 24/7 and there is always a need to fill. Education for our children, equipment, training and more. I chose to be part of the Foundation to assist with filling these needs.

I was very excited to be a member of the GFFR Foundation as this foundation will be not only be working to find ways to support GFFR, but to also support the Community of Great Falls. This ties directly into the 3 pillars of GFFR’s strategic plan, Education, Prevention and Response.

As a former Deputy Chief, I know firsthand that budgets can't always be stretched far enough to get the needed equipment or funding for programs. I'm excited to have the opportunity for continued involvement with GFFR to help fill this gap.

I am excited about the opportunity to join the Great Falls Fire Foundation Board because I believe my experience can contribute to the Foundation's mission of supporting our firefighters and enhancing community outreach. My goal is to help foster strong relationships, provide insights to improve resources, and ensure our department has what it needs to thrive.

TAYLOR TUCKER

When my uncle, Gary Ehnes was younger, he was in a missile silo accident and suffered burns on nearly his entire body. He is alive today thanks to the firemen who responded and saved his life. Growing up, I saw his support for GFFR from the way he "decorated" the Hi Ho, to starting the Hi Ho Golf Scramble over 35 years ago to support the fire fighters charitable fund. Joining the new GF Fire Rescue Foundation board of directors is a way to honor my uncle. It's a privilege to be a part of something that can and will have a lasting impact on the safety and vitality of our community.

As a firefighter spouse for nearly a decade, I see firsthand the impact that budget constraints have on the wellbeing of our firefighters and department. These impacts trickle down into the overall health and safety of not only firefighter families, but the community of Great Falls as a whole. I'm excited to be a part of the solution, and look forward to helping GFFR accomplish its goals for the future of our city
